This year's rodeo will be held on
August 2, 3, & 4, 2012. Our Schulenburg Festival
Rodeo starts with slack on Thursday night (this is the
overflow of contestants that are not able to compete on the
main event nights of Friday & Saturday).
Our Schulenburg Festival Rodeo is a major
event and is a CPRA/UPRA CO-APPROVED RODEO. Last year
we had approximately "295 contestants" that competed
in the Rodeo over the three (3) day period. We are hoping
for an awesome turnout this year as well.
Thanks to the dedication and hard work of
the Committee Directors, volunteer workers, all the
contestants that enter the Rodeo each year, all rodeo
Personnel, spectators and our valued Sponsors who make the
event possible, the Schulenburg Festival Rodeo received
the "2011 CPRA COMMITTEE OF THE YEAR - $4000 and Above"
award and the CPRA/UPRA CO-APPROVED RODEO OF THE YEAR awarded
in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
