Schulenburg Festival
Women's Slow-pitch Softball Tournament

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

  • Date: August 5th & 6th 2006
  • Deadline to sign-up is July 26th
  • First 28 Teams Paid are Entered - You will be entered when payment is received.
  • Double Elimination
  • Fields located at Schulenburg Sports Complex & Wolters Park, Schulenburg, TX
  • Entry Fee: $175.00 - Money Orders or Cashiers Checks ONLY!!
  • Official Umpires All Games
  • Additional Prizes to be given away during tournament, such as "Most Unique Uniforms".
  • Game Balls: Worth Green Dot Balls or any ASA, NSA, or USSSA Core 44 Ball (11 inch ball). Team will hit their own ball.
  • All players need to bring photo I.D. or driver's license in case of protest.  All protest fees are $150.00.

  • Top 4 Teams - 16 Individual T-Shirts per team

  • Champion & Runner-up MVP's

  • 14 All Tourney Awards - 5th-1, 4th-2, 3rd-3, 2nd-3, 1st-4

Rules & Regulations

With the exception of the rules listed, tournament games will be played under A.S.A. rules:

  1. No steel cleats or spikes, but player must wear shoes.
  2. 18 player roster turned in before first game
  3. 55 minutes time limit on all games
  4. 15 run rule in effect for all games.
  5. Lineups turned in to game umpire
  6. Game time is forfeit time
  7. Batter starts with 1 ball & 1 strike count
  8. You may use the additional hitter
  9. If you choose to begin a game using the A.H. (additional hitter), you must finish the game with it
  10. If you choose to begin with only 10 starters, you may not use the A.H. during the game, must have 9 players to start and finish game.
  11. Home Team will keep official scorebook
  12. First game playing times will be called to team manager by August 4.
  13. Absolutely NO Titanium Bats may be used to strike a ball during play.
  14. 5 homerun limit on all fields.
  15. Field bases and  pitchers mound will be played as set up.

Umpires decision final.
Not Responsible for Accidents.
