Little Miss/Mister; Young Miss and Jr. Miss; on stage interviews will consist of same questions on entry form.

Miss on stage interviews will consist of same questions on entry form, plus 1 question that will be picked by contestant on stage.

Dress:

No Casual Attire for Evening Competition.

LITTLE MISS/MISTER: DRESSY; Reflect their personality.

Boys: Sunday Dress (Dress Slacks, Collared shirts or button down shirt w/tie if available) proper shoes to complement. Dressy Western permitted w/proper matching attire.

Girls: AGE APPROPRIATE. Sunday Dress, Semi-formal or any type of formal attire permitted. Bodice beading only permitted, no full beaded dresses. Any length: Short length; Tea length or to the floor. NOTE: if long dresses worn, please make sure your child will NOT trip when walking. Proper attire shoes to complement outfit. NOTE: Make-up, jewelry, nail polish SAME as for interviews.

Young Miss: AGE APPROPRIATE. Sunday Dress, Semi-formal, or any type of formal attire permitted of any length permitted; Bodice beading permitted; no full beaded dresses. Simple is elegant.

MISS: opening number…Sunday dress Note: Wear dress that will fit your hair style etc; There will NOT be enough time for complete new do. ON STAGE interviews….FORMAL ATTIRE. Proper attire shoes to complement outfit. Shoes are not to be seen when walking or turning. NOTE: Make up, jewelry, nail polish SAME as for interviews. Complement your attire. Simple is elegant.

Jr. Miss & Miss: DO NOT FORGET ANYTHING….FIND A SPOT IN DRESSING ROOM…KEEP EVERYTHING TOGETHER!!

Interview Rules

INTERVIEWS: One on One with Judges. Questions will be asked from entry form and age appropriate decided by judges. Interviews are timed for all contestants. Do not program your child/children. We want natural, honest, on the spot answers.

OUTFITS: Little Miss/Mister: AGE APPROPRIATE!!!! Outfits to be complementary and show their personality. Casual/Dress: ABSOLUTELY No formal type dresses or NO REVEALING Outfits. Suggestions: Girls: Church dress, Capri outfit, Skirt Set, Sun Dress, etc. w/shoes to match attire. NO FLIP FLOPS OR HATS!! Sandals permitted. Shoes need to be age appropriate and complement outfit. ABSOLUTELY NO make-up!!!!!….clear lip gloss…or very light tint lip gloss acceptable ONLY. No Jewelry except for “stud earrings”. NO Nail polish except for clear. Boys: Collared shirts, (polo), Dressy shorts or slacks; shoes to complement outfit. Blue jeans acceptable with proper attire and shoes.

MISS: INTERVIEW LOOK….Business Attire Only. Dresses; Skirts; Slacks; proper matching shoes. No Halters, Spaghetti Strap or Strapless Dresses allowed during interviews. ABSOLUTELY NO HEAVY make-up!!!!!….Light Make-up ONLY. Bring out the real you. Nails: French Manicure, clear polish or natural polish colors. Do not wear nail colors that will take away from your face or outfit. Jewelry: Age Appropriate and not over bearing. Complement your look. Simple is elegant!!! No bracelets, anklets etc.

POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FOR NOT FOLLOWING RULES.

100 POINTS TOTAL
INTERVIEWS: 50 %
POISE & APPEARANCE: 25% (Combined)
EVENING: 25%
